2026 World Cup: 10 Top Countries That Will Not Be At Tournament

At least 10 countries which previously played at the World Cup, will not be part of the 2026 tournament.

From Africa, the notable absentees will be Cameroon and Nigeria.

The two West African nations both lost to Congo DR at the African play-offs, while the Leopards have become the 10th team from the continent to qualify.

Italy, Denmark and Poland are the top European countries that will miss out, after losing in their play-off finals.

Bosnia, Czech Republic and Sweden all took their spots instead.

The South American trio of Chile, Peru and Bolivia will watch the World Cup from home.

Bolivia came the closest to qualifying, but lost 2-1 to Iraq in the intercontinental play-off final.

China (Asia) and Costa Rica (North America) are two teams that will also not be at the tournament.

UEFA Champions League Team: Four Arsenal, PSG Stars, Two Bayern Munich Players Included

UEFA, on Thursday, included four Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain players in the UEFA Champions League Team of the week.

This follows the conclusion of the Champions League semi-final second leg fixtures played on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

According to DAILY POST, Arsenal eliminated Atletico Madrid from the Champions League on Tuesday, while PSG sent Bayern Munich packing from the competition.

However, the likes of Arsenal stars, David Raya, William Saliba, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka have all been included in the Champions League Team.

The 34-year-old is set to leave Old Trafford at the end of the current season.

EPL: Rooney Names Team To Win Title

Former Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney, has said Arsenal will go on to win the Premier League title, after Manchester City dropped points against Everton.

City were held to a 3-3 draw at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night.

The result means Pep Guardiola’s men are now five points behind Arsenal, but they have one game in hand.

Rooney believes the Gunners will beat West Ham this weekend and go on to be champions.
