2027: North Will Vote Massively For Tinubu – Kwankwaso

Published

on

The Director of Finance, Hadejia Jama’are River Basin, Alhaji Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, has fired back at the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, saying they have no political value or influence to stop President Bola Tinubu from winning massively in the northern parts of Nigeria in 2027.

Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, who supports Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC, in his position that “the North should wait till 2031 to reclaim power,” insisted that “ACF lacks political value to speak for the North.”

Kwankwaso reminded ACF, saying, “Most of you in this forum were in power for decades, but what did you do for the North that you now claim to defend? Nothing. Rather, you only served your personal interests, nothing more.”

Picking on individual members of the ACF, Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso reminded Solomon Dalung, who is at the forefront of attacking Tinubu and his government, saying, “Were you not silent after gaining power in Buhari’s government despite your critical stance on misgovernance?”

He alleged that “people like Solomon Dalung, Najaatu Muhammad, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and a host of others have nothing to tell the North because they cannot show what they did for the region.”

Illiyasu Kwankwaso further supported Ganduje’s position by stating that Tinubu’s performance for the northern region in just a few months of his administration surpasses that of many others who have nothing to show.

“Ganduje is right; the North should wait till 2031 to start talking about power because right now, one can clearly see the impact of his contributions to the development of the region.”

He explained that the Northwest Commission, spearheaded by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, which the President has since assented to, the over N600 billion for the Northwest Commission, and the recent approval of N150 billion for the construction of Metro Rail lines in Kano City, championed by the Chairman of the House of Representatives Appropriation Committee, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, are facts, not fiction.

Today, the entire northern Nigeria has become a project site with so many projects ongoing, and these are made possible by the full support of President Tinubu. More are coming as he reclaims power in 2027.”

Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso further praised Umar Abdullahi Ganduje for his effective party leadership, which has led to the defection of hundreds of top members from other parties to the APC.

We have seen that, apart from winning many states in the run-off elections, Ganduje is daily receiving National Assembly members, including Senators, House of Representatives members, and other top echelon members from other parties.”

He added that in Kano, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has completely shaken the foundation of the NNPP, with former commissioners and other top members being received daily by the DSP.

“These and many other strong points clearly show that it is only a matter of time before President Tinubu returns to power in 2027. This has strongly unsettled Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiyya supporters, who today realize they have no party to rely on.”
