‘After God Na Govt’, Portable Releases New Video After Granted Bail [Watch]

Controversial sensational singer, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has released a short video in his video streaming social media handle – Tiktok – after being granted bail.
Portable was arraigned for allegedly assaulting a policeman, resisting arrest and assaulting one of his followers.
The ‘Zeh’ crooner was, however, granted bail in the sum of N800,000 altogether for the three charges against him, with two sureties in like sums.
In the 45 seconds video, the controversial singer sings that he was picked up and sent to the prison without being allowed to wear his shirt, stressing that he is not a prisoner.

Confesing that after God comes government, he sings he should be left alone, adding that he is not a prisoner.
“I will report you to the police… I am child of glory… I am not a prisoner…”

Why I Gave Up On Acting—Director Pink

Nigerian music video director, Praise Onyeagwalam, popularly known as Director Pink, has revealed why she gave up on pursuing her acting career.
The award-winning cinematographer explained that the humiliation and sexual exploitation of aspiring actors made her quit that career path.
In a recent interview with Hip TV, Director Pink said the humiliation of standing on long queues at movie auditions and shady calls from male filmmakers inviting her to compromising locations, made her switch career to become her own boss.

“I wanted to be an actress but the humiliation was too much. Long queues, shady ‘come to this location’ calls. I said ‘No.’ That’s when I chose to be my own boss,” she said.
Director Pink added that being a music video director is also challenging, but she is willing to make sacrifices for the career.
She urged upcoming music video directors to be patient and embrace delayed gratification, stressing that it took those at the peak years to achieve their current status.

Nigerian music star, Adekunle Gold has received a remarkable honour with a street in Lagos named after him.
The 38-year-old singer shared the heartwarming moment with fans on Instagram, posting a video that captured the unveiling ceremony.
In the clip, Adekunle Gold was seen alongside his wife, Simi, and their daughter, Deja, as they jointly pulled back a veil to reveal the new signpost bearing his full name , “Adekunle Kosoko Street.”
Expressing gratitude for the recognition, the “Sade” crooner wrote:

The honour carries a deep sense of history for Adekunle Gold, who hails from the Kosoko royal family of Lagos Island.
His lineage traces back to Oba Kosoko, the former king of Lagos who reigned from 1845 to 1851.
