American Singer, Grande, Finalizes Divorce, To Pay ex-husband Dalton Gomez $1.25m

US singer, Ariana Grande and her husband Dalton Gomez have finalised their divorce after almost three years of marriage.
Ariana Grande had filed for divorce in 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
According to the Associated Press, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted the divorce on Tuesday.

Grande and Gomez, who split earlier in 2023, had a prenuptial agreement and had no children together. This, combined with the lack of serious legal problems, made for a quick resolution.
The settlement, which was reached in October, comprised a one-time payment of $1.25 million by Grande to Gomez, with no future alimony.
The pop diva, with an estimated net worth of $240 million, will receive half of the earnings from the sale of their Los Angeles house and contribute up to $25,000 for Gomez’s legal bills.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez started dating in January 2020 and quarantined themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grande had been married to the real estate agent for over two years after 11 months of dating.
According to TMZ, the couple had been separated since January and are planning to legally end their marriage with the People also reporting that the pair went their separate ways earlier this year.
Rumors regarding their relationship status began swirling in August when the singer posted a TikTok in which she wasn’t wearing her ring.
