A civil society organisation – People’s Defender Advocate has passed a vote of confidence on Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District at the Red Chamber, Neda Imasuen, saying he has been duly carrying out his legislative duties.

This followed a letter said to be written to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by Leftist Omobude Agho and Commrade Ezeimwenghian Uwangue under the auspices of ‘Concerned Citizens of Edo South Senatorial District’.

In the said letter written and signed by the due, and also a video by Left Agho, they were said to have called for the recall of Senator Imasuen on ground that he has not been performing well as a legislator.

As a brother in the struggle, I want to advise Leftist Omobude Agho and Commrade Ezeimwenghian Uwangue and his co-travellers that they need the signatures of those
whose names are in the register, those alive in every pulling unit, those that are dead whose names have not been removed from the voters register, those that have relocated out of Nigeria and those that are currently in admission in the hospital to be able to recall a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“He and is co-travellers have a right as a person to make a statement for themselves, but not on behalf of civil right organisations in Edo State as they have not been
elected to do so.

“This is a journey of shame and civil society organisations in Edo State are not part of this evil self seeking journey,” he added.
