The children of Samuel Ogbomwan who was the late founder of the Christ Apostolic Church of God Mission, CACGM, have blamed the withdrawal of the security personnel for recent robbery attacks on their father’s house.
They were referring to a recent episode when the robbers reportedly broke into the house and succeeded in carting away valuable house items.
This is one of the series of complaints by the children of the late founder of the Church who say that there is no visible trace of any of them in the leadership structure of the church unlike other ministries like Church of God Mission, Living Faith Church, Spirit and Life Church, etc

They said despite requests, the church, without any rationale has constantly refused to admit any of them into Statutory church boards as if there is a deliberate plot to leave out his children or heirs who are members of the Church from critical roles.
In a related development the children have frowned at the nondisclosure without proper account of the sum of #1000 which the Church asked members to pay for the burial of the late wife of the founder.
Contacted, Head of Communication and Media of CACGM, Rev Ileonomon Idehen, denied the allegations, saying security personnel were withdrawn when wife of the late founder also died, adding that all these happened last year and not recent as claimed.
On the compulsory N1000 allegedly collected from each member of the Church, the head of communications said this happened when their (children) mother died last year, adding that it was voluntary and not compulsory.

“All what you are talking about happened last year, their mother died more than a year ago so I don’t know why this is coming up. The N1000 you are talking about was a voluntary donation for their mom’s burial, I was part of the burial committee, so there is nothing hidden. The records are there for everyone to see. So there is no single truth in all the allegations,” he added.
