The Gunners head to the game after beating Newcastle United 2-0 in their last Premier League tie, while Brighton lost 5-1 at home to Everton.

However, Brighton could pull a surprise result by getting a draw or a win against Mikel Arteta’s side in front of their home supporters despite losing their last game and the Gunners winning theirs.

2. Leicester City vs Liverpool: This Premier League match will take place on Monday night at the King Power Stadium and the kick-off time is 8 pm. Leicester City head to the game after losing 5-3 against Fulham in their last game, while Liverpool won 1-0 against Brentford.

The Reds currently sit in the 5th position on the log with 62 points from 35 games, while the Foxes are in the 18th position with 30 points from 35 games.

Leicester are presently battling to avoid relegation from the Premier League and will give their all to get a good result against Jurgen Klopp’s side in front of their home supporters.

3. Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest: This match will take place on Saturday at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea head to the game after winning their first match 3-1 against Bournemouth under caretaker manager Frank Lampard last weekend, while Nottingham Forest defeated Southampton 4-3.

Just like the Leicester City vs Liverpool game, Nottingham Forest are also battling to survive relegation from the Premier League as they currently sit in the 16th position on the log with just 3 points above the relegation zone. They will definitely give their all to get at least a draw against Chelsea, who are not impressive this season. Lampard’s side currently sits in the 11th position on the Premier League table with 42 points from 34 games.

That’s four red cards this season; it’s not good enough. I’ve spoken about it; the manager needs to talk with the players, because it’s costing us games as well,” Mikel Obi said on his podcast.

“If you look at that game, if we finished with eleven men, I think we could’ve won. Maybe not easily, but comfortably, we could’ve secured a win.”

EPL: Slot Reveals When Salah Will Leave For AFCON

Published

on

Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, has revealed that Mohamed Salah was “not happy” to be dropped for their 2-0 win at West Ham on Sunday.

Salah was named on the bench at the London Stadium for the Premier League fixture.

Slot took the bold decision, as he looked to arrest a poor run of form, that saw the Reds lose nine of 12 matches.

Salah was not summoned from the bench for the entire 90 minutes, as goals from Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo sealed victory.

It was a normal reaction for a player who is good enough to play for us,” Slot said.

“I say that mildly as he’s been so outstanding for this club and will be in the future. He wasn’t happy he wasn’t starting but he wasn’t the only one.”

“It’s 15 December,” Slot confirmed.

But always in these situations there is the player and the national team involved and there are always talks about what is best for all three of us.”
