Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has said Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne is dealing with a private issue.

Henry revealed this while speaking on CBS Sport, following City’s 4-0 win over Madrid at the Etihad on Wednesday night.

The Premier League champions progressed with a 5-1 aggregate victory and will now face Inter Milan in the final on June 10.

De Bruyne, who provided two assists on the night, was clearly pissed off during the game and was filmed shouting “shut up” towards Guardiola.

In the clip, Guardiola told the Belgian to “pass the ball”.

After losing possession, De Bruyne turned around to the City manager and shouted: “Shut up! Shut up!”

Henry, who has coached De Bruyne at international level, shared a warm embrace with the player, before saying: “It was [a touching moment]. I can’t say it because I have to keep that private.

“But from what he said to me, I even more respect how he played tonight and how he came and battled with his team. I can’t share what he said because I can’t share it. That’s how it is. But once again, I will go back to, for me he is the most important player.”

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has revealed that his team is still missing the experience of Granit Xhaka.

Arteta described the Switzerland international as a huge player, adding that he loves him.

The Spainaird reluctantly allowed the long-serving Xhaka to depart the Gunners in the summer after he had enjoyed his best ever season at the North London club.

The former Manchester City assistant coach took a big gamble by effectively opting to replace Xhaka with Kai Havertz, who joined Arsenal for £65million deal.

Manchester City Women forward Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw has explained the backstory of her ‘Davido celebration’ with Chloe Kelly in the Manchester Derby last month.

Recall that Shaw joined Kelly in doing Nigerian singer Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ dance after wrapping up the scoring for City in their 3-1 victory over United at Old Trafford in November.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the Jamaican striker explained how her viral ‘Davido celebration’ came to be.

She said: “I went to the PFA Awards and Davido was there. Obviously, he performed. I’m touching Alex like, ‘I’m feeling this dance.’ She was like, ‘You got it.’ So throughout the time, she was like, ‘You got it.’ I was trying [the dance] but it wasn’t working, but she was like, ‘Okay, you need more practise.’ And so I would go in the bathroom and practise to see if I got it because I didn’t want to come out and be embarrassed.

“Whenever there’s a new song or a new dance, Chloe is like the first person [in the team] to learn it. And I was like, ‘Chloe, how do I look? Check me out.’ And she was like, ‘Okay, you got it.’ She was like, ‘You know what? It would be cool if either one of us scored; we could do it at the game [Manchester Derby].’ And then I scored but I completely forgot because I was just so in the moment. And then I saw Chloe touch me and she just started doing it [‘Unavailable’ dance] and I joined her. I think it went viral and Davido reposted it.”
