Fear Every Girl In Choir – Nedu Advises

Popular content creator and on-air-personality, Nedu has said that girls who belong to the choir should be feared.

The thespian argued that they are sometimes not the ‘godly’ girls people see them as.

He said this during a chat on Naija FM’s ‘Across the Bridge’.

The comedian narrated his experience with a girl in a choir and how his friend discouraged him from engaging her based on her ‘ungodly’ activities during night rehearsals.

Nedu, who spoke in Pidgin English, said, “I say I been wan engage the girl. E say why? Say him just gimme make I chop naw. Naim I say no o! Say the girl na virgin e never chop… E shout! E say which virgin? E say sometimes make we no shout so that people wey dey outside no go hear.”

He continued, “E say sometimes, say dem go dey all night rehearsal, those our all night rehearsals. Say dem go dey stage. Say the girl, e get one guy wey dey always follow back come see the girl. Say the girl, dem go dey for that sound side for back, back. “

He also talked about the activities of the said girl and how his friend proved she was not a virgin.

Nedu confirmed he didn’t know much about the girl but was discouraged by stories he heard about the girl.

“My brother, fear every girl wey dey choir. Hmmm…eh! No!! Every girl wey dey choir, fear them. But some are wonderful. No, but there are sisters that are very very wonderful.”

When asked by one of the hosts if ‘sisters’ are the only ones to be feared, he said, “Brothers are worst.”

Grammy Announces Date For 2027 Awards Nominations

The Recording Academy, the organizers of the Grammy Awards, has announced the dates for the 2027 edition of its awards ceremony and nominations.

The organizers revealed the date on Tuesday during an upfront presentation in New York.

Nominations will be announced November 16, 2026, with eligible albums having been released between August 31, 2025, and August 28, 2026.

The Grammy awards ceremony will be held on February 7, 2027.

The ceremony will be aired live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on ABC and will stream on Disney+ and Hulu.

The development is a break from the Grammy’s 54 consecutive years partnership with CBS.

Also announcing the news on its Instagram page, Grammy, wrote: “IT’S TIIIIIME! The road to the 2027 Grammys officially begins now. Mark your calendars for submissions, nominations, voting, and all the key moments leading up to Music’s Biggest Night. Grammy Season.”

Famous Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, is dead.

A Nollywood source, who does not wish to be named, informed DAILY POST that Alex was rushed to the hospital on Monday.

The source said the actor had been battling kidney cancer

The actor passed away on Tuesday afternoon after spending hours on life support.

Alex was rumoured to be suffering from serious health issues in May 2025 after months of social media disappearance.

A check confirmed that Ekubo’s last social media post was on December 30, 2024.

Nigerian record producer and music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has named alternative rock singer Johnny Drille as his best musician.

The Mavin boss said Johnny Drille’s music is unique, stressing that he is a complete musician.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Crea8torium podcast, Don Jazzy claimed that Johnny Drille has no rival in the Nigerian music industry.

“If you look at the Nigerian music industry right now, there is nobody like Johnny Drille. He is in a world of his own. He is like the best musician – the complete musician that I know. He is versatile. He mix, write, sing. He does everything.

“He is also an amazing performer – the way he sounds in the studio is the same way he sounds in live shows,” he said.
