Full List: Wizkid Nominated For Nickelodeon Awards 2023 ‘Favorite Global Star’ Award

Afrobeats star, Wizkid has been nominated for the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

The nominees for this year’s prize were announced by the organizers on Tuesday.

The Grammy award winner was a nominee in the category of “Favorite Global Music Star.”

The South African comedian and TV broadcaster Trevor Noah was also a nominee in the category of “Favorite African Star.”

Nigerian child stars Olianna and Olivia are competing in the category for “Favorite African Kidfluencers.”

This year’s edition of the award is scheduled to take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on March 8.

Video: Media Personality, Enioluwa Surprises ‘Best Friend’ Ojo With Expensive Gifts On Birthday

Media personality, Enioluwa Adeoluwa has lavished luxurious gifts on his best friend, Priscilla Ojo who marked her 23rd birthday on Wednesday.

Priscilla clocked 23 on March 13, 2024, and a big denim-themed bash was organised to celebrate her.

While one of the moments that stood out from the star-studded event was Ilebaye’s sultry outfit, Enioluwa’s gifts also made the headlines.

Priscilla and Enioluwa are no strangers to dating rumors due to their close relationship, and their actions at her birthday party heightened suspicion.

In some clips that have gone viral online, Enioluwa and Priscilla were seen holding each other tightly as they took photos with the birthday cake. Enioluwa had one of his arms on Iyabo Ojo’s daughter’s waist as they continued to pose for the pictures.

In another clip, the duo rocked the dancefloor together. They both had coordinated dance moves as the DJ played singer King Promise’s Terminator track.

Recall recently Enioluwa clarified his relationship status with Priscilla and chef Hilda Baci.

Speaking during an interview on Channels TV’s ‘The Morning Brief‘, the 24-year-old digital content creator, was asked about his rumoured relationship with 28-year-old Hilda Baci and Priscilla.

He said “Priscilla and I are very good friends. We spend a lot of time together. Hilda Baci and I are friends. Hilda is in a public relationship.”

Enioluwa who is also known as ‘the lip gloss guy’ further stated that he is not interested in relationships for now as his main focus at the moment is his recently embarked Ph.D. journey.

When asked about the African society’s perception towards men who wear make-up, Enioluwa said he would not live his life to please anyone.

I’m not perfect. You select the positive sides of people and emulate that. I started my PhD at 23, graduated university at 19 with a first class degree. People can choose the side they perceive as positive.”

Popular Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has buzzed the internet after his recent meeting with his colleague Wizkid stirred controversy.

The video, which has been making the rounds on social media since Tuesday, March 12, 2024, especially on X, shows Wizkid and the Twe Twe hitmaker getting together at a small-scale indoor party.

Fans observed a fleeting and seemingly casual exchange of a shoulder-to-shoulder dab between the two musicians in the footage.

The informality of their greeting sparked backlash from many fans, who particularly condemned Kizz Daniel’s demeanor.

They are specifically from Nkwere, an Igbo town. Forest Whitaker was given the honorary title of chief ‘Nwannedinambe de Nkewere’, which means ‘a brother in a foreign nation’. He is making a significant difference in that strange place since he is one of the few black actors in America who are at the top of their game. Whitaker earned an Oscar for his role as Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in the 2006 film The Last King of Scotland. He received the Oscar for Best Actor at the 79th Academy Awards in 2007.

Temilade Openiyi

Temilade Openiyi, a.k.a Tems, was nominated for the 95th edition of the Oscars award, Although she didn’t win her category, she made history as the first Nigerian artiste to be nominated at the awards.

Tems received the Best Original Song nomination for her collaboration with Rihanna on the song ‘Lift Me Up’. The duo was nominated in the ‘Best Original Song’ category.

‘Lift Me Up’ was one of Marvel’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtracks. Rihanna co-wrote the soulful song with Tems, and the music was produced by Ludwig Göransson, and directed by Ryan Coogler.
