How American-based Nigerian Was Abducted, Killed After Payment Of Ransom


An American-based Nigerian, Prince Denis Abuda, who was kidnapped recently in Edo State has been killed by his abductors.

Late Abuda who hails from Fugar, Etsako Central Local Area of the state, was said to have been kidnapped recently on his way to Lagos to board flight back to base was reportedly killed by his abductors.

His decomposing body was found five days after his abduction along the Benin-Auchi bypass.

Abuda who is the president America-Fugar foundation came home for the holidays and was traveling back through Benin to Lagos last Saturday to board the flight back to USA on Sunday when he was kidnapped alongside three others when he was kidnapped.

It was learnt that family members got to know of the incident on Sunday after waiting endlessly for their arrival in Lagos.

The kidnappers were said to have demanded N10 million ransom after which negotiated amount was paid.

It was gathered that after the ransom was paid only three of those abducted were released around 7pm while Abuda was killed by his abductors.

It was further learnt that released victim told the family members that as they walked away in the bush, he fell down and was killed by the kidnapers in order not to leave a trail behind.

Efforts to get confirmation from the state police command was unsuccessful as the police public relations officers, SP Chidi Nwanbuzor, did not answered calls to his cell phone.
