Experts:
May we meet you?
My name is Peter Oborokumor properly knows as Young Elder OPY Motion. I’m the CEO of OPY Motion. I based here in my community – Odimodi in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. I am Ijaw by tribe.
What do you do?
Well, I am a skitmaker, video director (filmmaker), generally, I am into entertainment – anything you can think of in the entertainment industry.
You said you are into entertainment, any work to your credit?
Yes. I have skits – short videos on the internet. When you go to YouTube, just search for OPY Motion, some of my skits are there. Then, also on Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.
You said you shoot movies too. Have you shot any video for any celebrity or any well known person?
Of course, I have shot videos for many. Allen, another up-and-coming movie stars in Nigeria. And I have also shot videos for some of our Izon musicians. The likes of King Allen Alabor, Samuel Nichola, Oyas among others.
Being someone who is into entertainment, what are the challenges?
As an up-and-coming star, there are many challenges confronting me. challenges in terms of finance. I mean money is the msjor challenge. It is quite unfortunate that most of our big men do not want to help us. This a major challenge. Another thing is the instrument to use. Most of the time I hire instruments to shoot most of the videos. But had it been I have my own instruments, it would have been more better. But unfortunately, where hail from is where the well-to-do do not think of helping the less privileged. So, these are the challenges I am facing right now, most especially the financial aspect. Honestly speaking, no money to buy equipment that will enable me to produce a professionally standard work.

Do you think if you are giving a financial back up, you have what it takes?
Why not. If there is money – If someone can stand today and say Young Elder OPY Motion let me help you, then I can do more better than some popular skit makers out there. Skitmaker like Sabinus and some others out there, I can do more better than them if I am given the financial back up. Because I believe in myself, the only challenge is money; somebody to raise me; somebody to help me, this is the only challenge.
So, what message do you have for people who you think can be of help to you?
What I want people to do for me is financial help. I need money. If someone can help me with money, then you will see the best in me. This is what I am known for and what I love doing. And this is what I have taken as my career till I leave this earth. If someone can assist me, then the world will see one the best skitmaker. To be more specific, what I want people to do for me most especially our big men in Nigeria and in the Ijaw nation specifically, people like Tompolo, Shoot-at-sight, Goodluck Jonathan and other big men in Ijaw land, I want them to help me, if they can help me financially, then my best will be brought to the fore, they will never be disappointed. I want these people and others to help me. I want once more specifically appealed to my leader and brothers Tompolo, Shoot-at-sight and other big men from our riverine area to help me.
