Imansuangbon Assures LP Members Of Inclusive Governance

A frontline governorship aspirant of the Labour Party in Edo State, Barr Kenneth Imansuangbon, has assured members of the party that they would not regret voting for him at the party primary.

Barr. Imansuangbon said his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate remained the surest way for the party to take control of governance in the state.

Imansuangbon, in a statement issued in Benin City, said his administration would reward party loyalty.

He assured that members of his cabinet and Special Assistants would comprise party loyalists from among the grassroots.

According to him, “My desire to govern Edo State is to empower the youths and generality of Edo people. I know many party members are neglected after elections but my time will be different.

“I will not go abroad to shop for Commissioners or political aides. I will use home grown politicians in the Labour Party because the problem we are coming to solve are with us.”

The governorship candidate further appealed to LP members to rally round him to emerge victorious at the primary.

JUST IN: NEC Reinstates Anyanwu As PDP National Secretary

The 100th National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party has reinstated Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s national secretary.

Speaking to journalists after the NEC meeting held in Abuja on Monday, the PDP acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, announced that Anyanwu has been officially reinstated.

Deputy National Secretary, Barr. Festus Fuanter, disclosed this after Monday’s National Working Committee, NWC, meeting.

JUST IN: Dalori Chairs First APC NWC Meeting Following Ganduje’s Resignation

Following the resignation of former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Deputy Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, is now presiding over his first National Working Committee meeting in his capacity as Acting National Chairman.

Dalori, along with several NWC members, is currently meeting at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
