It was a period which the people had the best of brains in all professional sphere, an era that saw to the establishment of several schools at all levels. Bendel State University now renamed Ambrose Ali University (AAU) Ekpoma; College of Education, Agbor and that of Afuze were some of the institutions birthed during the period while many primary and secondary schools were also set up across the entire state.
The period between 1979 to 1983 could possibly be described an era where the sector catapulted the growth and development of all other sectors. What had happened between then and now is not story we are ready to bore you with, but, what is not news is that that education sector is in dire need of attention. We have had successesive administration since then and they have all fallen short of the feat Ali achieved with ease and clear vision.
The big question now is, is there anyone with a clear vision, passion and experience to reenact similar feat accomplished by the late Professor of Medicine?Barr. Kenneth Imasuagbon is just that person whom God, by providence, has thrown at us in Edo State. He is equipped academically, well prepared and suited for the job to reinvent that golden era haven ran one of the best schools in the country.
The Ewohimi, Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State born educationist loves for education has seen him organised and sponsored various education competitions as well as offered support in form of scholarships to thousands of indigent students across the country.
A compassionate man, strong believer of tradition, tranparent, discipline in all approaches, ethical in all considerations and a defender of social justice, Imansuangbon is happily married and blessed with four children.
