He insisted that criminalities in the Southeast are carried out to implicate IPOB and ESN.
A statement by Powerful reads: “We the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra under the command and leadership of our great leader, Nnamdi Kanu wish to reiterate once again to Biafrans, friends of Biafra, and lovers of freedom, that IPOB has to hands in the criminality and insecurity being perpetrated in Biafra territory by imported hoodlums, dissidents and wicked politicians. Those behind this barbarity are not IPOB members or ESN operatives.

“Our mothers were raped by these vampires created and sponsored by politicians in Imo State to terrorize our people and implicate IPOB and ESN members.”
IPOB urged southeast governors and politicians to join its members in flushing out unknown gunmen from the southeast.
He added: “The insecurity and killing of our innocent citizens are unacceptable by IPOB worldwide and we must bring down those behind these devilish activities. We are urging the Governors and other politicians to join hands with IPOB under KANU to stop the unnecessary waste of lives in our region and stop the RISING waste of lives in our territory because it might turn against you tomorrow.
“Never think that you are free because if you continue sponsoring these criminals we will mention your name in the near future and IPOB will start pursuing you because many of you have sponsored the death of our people.
“IPOB is not part of the unknown gunmen or those criminals suffering our people. Stop sponsoring the untimely death of innocent folks.”

Olushiga added that it would equally build a fraud resistant-audit ready and value driven procurement system.
“The training is to increase the capacity of the not-for-profit sector partners or workers and all those organisations that work under the not-for-profit to bring them up to international standards in procurement practice.
“It is also to help them to mirror their activities with the Nigerian Procurement Act which is not mandatory for them but compels them to have their policies and procurement activities in tune with national policy and international standard.

Edo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Samson Osagie, has said that the right of access to public information should not be taken as a privilege that should be granted at the discretion of the state, rather, should be seen as a right that flows from the sovereignty of the people.
Hon. Osagie spoke at a Strategic Meeting on the Implementation of the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) in Nigeria, held in Benin on Thursday.
The strategic meeting was organized by Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) and its partners under the CASARN project.

He disclosed that his ministry has “already exploring digital systems that can ease public access to data and records held by government institutions.”
“I am particularly pleased that this forum is not just timely, but pivotal, given the recent Supreme Court pronouncement clarifying the applicability of the FOI Act to subnational entities.
“In Edo State, the administration of Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State is deeply committed to reforms that promote transparency, public accountability, and citizen participation.”

“I affirm our readiness to engage constructively with civil society and the media towards the robust implementation of the FOI Act.
“However, this must be done within the framework of constitutional safeguards, institutional capacity, and responsible journalism,” he said.
