Jaruma, Regina Daniels’ Friendship In Crisis, Engage In Verbal War On Social Media

The friendship between the popular aphrodisiac seller, Jaruma and Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels seems to have hit the rocks as the duo has taken to social media to trade words.
The pair had been seen as ‘besties’ after they posted several mushy videos of themselves on their individual social media accounts.
However, the wedge between their relationship began when Daniels took to Instagram to debunk insinuations that she bought and used kayan mata, an aphrodisiac, from Jaruma on her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.
Moreso, her statement came shortly after one of the wife’s of Nwoko, Laila Charani, publicly revealed that she is now divorced from the businessman.
Shortly after Charani’s revelation, some fans had accused the actress of using kayan mata to end her husband’s marriage to the Moroccan model.

In her defence, Daniels said via her verified Instagram account, “This is for clarity sake…. I have and will never use any kayamata product. Jaruma paid me to help make random posts for her. I personally gave my terms concerning the kind of posts to be made, I was very mindful with my choice of words so as not to mislead the public, I was simply creating awareness for her brand. Along the line, we became friends, I was warned severally to keep her at arm’s length and mind my association with her but it is not in my nature to judge a person from another’s perspective but in her case, I should have known better.
“She constantly uses every opportunity to create content to profit off my person and my brand even after our payment deal expired. I tolerated it because I believed I understood her person and felt I should give her the benefit of doubt and maintain a cordial friendship. But this time, I will not tolerate Jaruma using this issue that practically portrays me as a bad person for her selfish desires knowing fully well, that I have NEVER AND WILL NEVER USE whatever she sells as I have no reason to…
“And this is a notice to my fans and the general public, I and my brand As Regina Daniels has no business/association with Jaruma and her products. Thank you.” (sic)
Regina also ended ties with Jaruma while also stating that she would no longer tolerate being portrayed in a “bad light” by the sex therapist.
Her public dissociation with the self-acclaimed sex therapist probably did not sit down right with the Jaruma who also took to her social media page to hit back at Daniels, claiming that she paid her N10,000,000 to advertise her product.
Jaruma further stated that other favours she claimed she did for Daniels in several posts via her Instagram account.
In one of her posts, Jaruma wrote, “Jaruma constantly uses every opportunity to create content ??? Are u serious right now??? So why didn’t you tell the world the price???
“A whooping N10,000,000…!!! You must be joking Gina…!! Jaruma and Regina were friends for a year before Jaruma paid Regina N10,000,000 just for the purpose of visibility and reaching more audience since Gina was in the spotlight for marrying a much older man.
“In six months, Regina only posted Jaruma three times…!! Maybe because Gina felt Jaruma is in Dubai and so she can just do anyhow. Therefore Jaruma flew in from Dubai just to make Gina post at least three times a week.
“I bought you your headphones N120,000, I paid for ur dinner at sinoki N172,000, I slept by your side in the hospital when you were sick…I bought your mum a Lace of N500,000…” (sic)

Why I Married Mr Eazi – Temi Otedola

Actress and fashion influencer, Temi Ajibade, has revealed why she decided to marry Afrobeats singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi.
In an interview with the BBC on Wednesday, Temi described the singer as her best friend and the person she always wanted to spend her life with.
“He’s my best friend. He’s my person. And I think when you meet your person, you will know. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anybody else. He’s the person that I’m excited and can’t wait to spend every day with, build our lives together, work through our ups and downs together, celebrate together, and solve problems together. He’s simply my person,” she said.

Temi, who recently updated her social media bio to reflect her husband’s surname, explained that taking on the name Ajibade was a personal decision.
“To be deeply honest with you, it’s not anything I had thought about before. Obviously, now that I’m a married woman, the obvious thing for me is to take my husband’s name. But it’s my personal choice. I respect everybody’s personal choice. It’s what I’m comfortable and happy doing, but I also respect a woman’s ability to choose,” she added.
She also spoke about her choice to keep her engagement and wedding private, saying it was about controlling her narrative.

“I think it’s more about owning your own narrative. There’s something about moving in silence that allows you to have control over things. It allows you to build the narrative you want, and you’re able to share when you feel ready to share and in the way you want to share it,” she said.
Temi, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, admitted that her father influenced her outlook on life, but noted that he encouraged her and her sisters to chart their own paths instead of relying on his businesses.
She further acknowledged that coming from a privileged background gave her an advantage, but stressed that the real test was how one used such opportunities.
“You will never hear me say it doesn’t. I think it’s very important for people who are privileged to acknowledge that leg up they’ve gotten in life. Maybe the caveat is that you can give someone a leg up, but it’s what they do with it that matters,” she said.
