Akpile who noted that tremendous advances have been achieved via conventional medicine and technological breakthroughs, however noted that more research needs to be done to be able to marry together all the healing energies and craftily bring them together in the most appropriate, fast, economical and effective way in order to reverse and improve the quality of healthcare in our country.

According to him, “BP medications, Insulin injections, and organ transplants have had some good impacts on mankind. However, these advances have not been without serious side effects and setbacks in the health of mankind, especially in the area of drug resistance, chemotherapy and radiotherapy; killing more cancer patients than they cure.

“Thanks to Integrative medicine practitioners who have ameliorated these invasive side effects by balancing the effects of radiation/chemotherapy by introducing the patients to natural remedies to enable them to return to a state of homeostasis.

“Often the maladies they have are those that are still somewhat mysterious to medical science and cannot be diagnosed. This, therefore, call for a paradigm shift in our approach to the treatment of our patient.

“None of the healing techniques is more superior to the others. The act of bringing some or all of them together at a time to enable the healing force flow in the human body,” Akpile stated.
