Most Shots, No Goals: Osimhen Tops List

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, leads the list of players with the most shots taken in the UEFA Champions League this season after two group games played, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

According to the statistical website, Whoscored.com, Osimhen has recorded 13 shots in the competition so far and he is yet to score for Napoli in their games against Sporting Braga and Real Madrid.

Haaland is second on the list with 12 shots attempted without registering a goal.

Osimhen and Haaland are two of the leading strikers in Europe currently and it is surprising to see them top this chart.

Last season, Osimhen scored five goals in six Champions League games but is yet to find the back of the net this campaign with his only goal contribution being an assist he recorded in Napoli’s 2-1 win over Braga.

Haaland was the top scorer of the competition last season with 12 goals but has not been able to get off the mark this campaign.

Turkey: Galatasaray Give Condition To Sell Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray board member, Bora Bahçetepe, has insisted that the club will sell their star striker Victor Osimhen if they receive an offer of 150-200 million euros.

Bahçetepe stated this on the HT Spor broadcast while fielding questions about Osimhen’s future amid reports linking the Nigerian international with a move away from Galatasaray in the summer transfer window.

Galatasaray has many players, including Osimhen, whose future is uncertain at the end of the season.
