The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has urged players of Bendel Insurance Football Club to put behind their recent 1-0 loss to Shooting Stars and concentrate on their upcoming clash with Enyimba FC on Wednesday.

This match is part of the rescheduled Matchday 20 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Following the disappointment in Saturday’s encounter at the Lakan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, where Godwin Odibo scored the only goal in the 81st minute, Amadin emphasized the importance of resilience and professionalism.

Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, has revealed that Mohamed Salah was “not happy” to be dropped for their 2-0 win at West Ham on Sunday.

Salah was named on the bench at the London Stadium for the Premier League fixture.

Slot took the bold decision, as he looked to arrest a poor run of form, that saw the Reds lose nine of 12 matches.

Salah was not summoned from the bench for the entire 90 minutes, as goals from Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo sealed victory.

“I say that mildly as he’s been so outstanding for this club and will be in the future. He wasn’t happy he wasn’t starting but he wasn’t the only one.”
