Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has wished Gernot Rohr all the best after he was sacked as Super Eagles head coach.

Rohr was sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) after more than five years in charge.

The Franco-German had been in charge since 2016, leading the team to the 2018 World Cup and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, where Nigeria finished third.

However, the performance of the team over the last 12 months made his position untenable, despite qualifying the team for next year’s AFCON and the 2022 World Cup playoffs.
