Peller Breaks Silence On Benin Palace Breach Controversy, N395m Lawsuit

Popular TikTok creator and streamer, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, widely known as Peller, has broken his silence over the controversies surrounding his alleged unauthorised visit to the palace of Oba Ewuare II and a N395 million lawsuit filed against him.
Speaking during a recent livestream, the content creator maintained his innocence, insisting he was not directly responsible for the incidents.
The first controversy stems from his visit to the Benin Palace on March 6, 2026, which the Benin Traditional Council described as a breach of palace protocol and a desecration of sacred grounds.
According to the council, Peller and his team allegedly gained entry into the palace without proper authorisation.

The incident reportedly triggered disciplinary actions, including the suspension of a chief, the arrest and prosecution of a palace staff member, and possible sanctions against a queen who appeared in related content.
The council has since summoned Peller to appear before its committee and submit a written apology, warning that legal action may follow if he fails to comply.
Reacting to the claims, Peller said he acted on instructions from his manager and was unaware that his visit violated any rules.

“My manager asked me to go to the Oba of Benin’s palace. I didn’t know about any protocols. I greeted everyone respectfully. My hands are clean,” he said.
The second controversy involves a N395 million lawsuit filed by Lagos resident, Osarobo Odigie, over an alleged incident at a lounge in Lekki.
In a pre-action notice issued through her lawyers, Odigie accused Peller of defamation, cyber harassment, invasion of privacy, and emotional distress after he allegedly recorded and shared a video of a confrontation without her consent.

She is seeking N200 million in damages for defamation, N100 million for emotional trauma, N75 million for cyberbullying, and N20 million to cover legal costs.
Responding to the suit, Peller admitted he lacks the financial means to meet the demands and appealed for leniency, adding that he had previously apologised.
“I don’t have that kind of money. It feels like people want me to go broke. I’m begging; I’m just a young person who needs guidance,” he said.

It’s Okay To Be Commercial Sex Worker For Survival – Actress Bello’s Comment Sparks Reactions [VIDEO]
Veteran Nollywood actress, Shaffy Bello has sparked controversy with her unconventional advice to young women about commercial sex work.
Featuring in a recent episode of the Moraya Show, the actress claimed that it is okay for ladies to engage in commercial sex work if it is for survival or pressing needs.
Bello said she doesn’t judge commercial sex workers but rather she encouraged them to do it well with respect.
She, however, warned that women who go into sex work due to pressing needs shouldn’t tarry in it.
“If what you are doing now is being a ‘runs girl’ to make money, you don’t have to stay there. I understand it, I never judge. If you go be ash*wo, do am well. Do it well with respect and your full-chest.
“However, don’t stay there. If that is what you have to do right now to make a living.. Some girls are doing it because they need to feed mom, send their younger ones to school. I understand it. However, my darlings, don’t stay there,” she advised.

VIDEO: ‘You Are Daft’ — VeryDarkMan Slams Tinubu’s Aide
Popular social media critic and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has reacted angrily to the trending AI-generated video allegedly linked to him, blasting presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga and accusing the government of ignoring worsening insecurity.
Recall that the comment comes amid a vow by the Presidency on Wednesday to prosecute Nigerian social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VDM, for allegedly sharing a fake audio clip of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
An X user, @Pious_minister, shared a post alleging that an AI-generated audio of the President was used in one of VDM’s videos.

In the viral audio, a voice mimicking Tinubu allegedly claimed that insecurity in Nigeria would continue because Nigerians did not vote for him during the 2023 presidential election.
Reacting to this via a video posted on his social media page, VeryDarkMan described Onanuga as “stupid” and “daft,” insisting he would not defend the controversial AI clip.
The activist questioned why the Presidency had remained silent over the recent abduction of teachers and students in Oyo State, alleging that one of the kidnapped teachers had been beheaded while the victims remain in captivity on Children’s Day.

“You are so stupid. I know say una don get me for mind and think say part of an agenda. You see this audio, I will not defend it. You no dey shame.
