The Untold Secret Behind BBNaija Star Ebuka’s Success – Banky W

Nigerian singer and politician, Bankole Wellington, widely known as Banky W, has written a heartfelt tribute to media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, celebrating his journey from obscurity to continental fame.
In an Instagram post, Banky W reflected on Ebuka’s journey, portraying him not as a product of fame or wealth, but as a testament to resilience and unwavering consistency.
He reminded fans that Ebuka didn’t win the Big Brother Nigeria, BBNaija, reality show, in fact, he finished in eighth place yet he has gone on to become one of Africa’s most prominent and respected media personalities.
“When you think of Ebuka, don’t just think fashion, fame, or fortune. Think resilience,” Banky W wrote.

“He didn’t win the show, but he won in life.”
He recounted Ebuka’s humble beginnings, tracing his journey from being a contestant on the first season of BBNaija to hosting talk shows like Rubbing Minds, writing newspaper columns, earning a master’s degree, and remaining dedicated even when the outcomes were uncertain.
Banky W employed a biblical metaphor to describe Ebuka’s journey, comparing it to the miracle of turning water into wine.
He stressed that behind every breakthrough moment lies years of preparation, patience, and tireless effort , “filling the jars,” as he put it.
“Success takes grace and grind. The grace is from God. The grind is from you,” he wrote, urging others to reflect on their own efforts and journeys.

Nigerian Musician Dies In Canada

Popular live music band leader, Akinloye Tofowomo popularly known as Akiin Shuga, has died at the age of 50.
His death was confirmed in a statement released by his family on Monday.
Akiin Shuga died on October 30, 2025, in New Brunswick, Canada.

The statement described the Shuga Band founder as “a revered music icon and custodian of rhythm, culture, and the spirit of performance”.
The family also said details of funeral arrangements will be revealed in due course.

Akiin Shuga leaves behind his wife, children, siblings, and mother.

Jarvis Threatens To Sue Peller Over Money Laundering Allegation

Popular content creator and TikToker, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, has threatened legal action against her boyfriend, Peller.
Peller, who is also a TikTok star, had in a recent livestream named Jarvis among other TikTokers that laundered money through the platform’s gifting feature.
Reacting to the allegation, Jarvis management, Aiso Entertainment, tagged Peller’s claim as false.

Jarvis management in a statement shared on her social media page, threatened to sue Peller for defamation, noting that “such accusations are an attack on her character and legality, which deserve stringent legal action of this kind”.
“The management alongside her esteemed legal counsel, denies these allegations and we are currently exploring the possibility of initiating a defamation lawsuit against Mr. Peller,” the statement added.
