Tinubu Campaign Organisation (TCO) Congratulates Edo Governor-Elect

Tinubu Campaign Organisation (TCO) has congratulated Senator Monday Okpehbolo on his resounding victory in the September 21, 2024, Edo State Governorship Election.

In a press release signed by its National Co-ordinator, Joshua Ohioma Ilevbare TCO stated that Senator Okpehbolo’s triumph represents the unequivocal mandate bestowed upon him by the overwhelming majority of Edo State’s indigenous people across all 18 local governments.

The organization, describing him as people’s choice, said Senator Okpehbolo’s genuine concern, unalloyed love, and commitment to effective governance resonated with Edo’s citizens, aligning with APC principles.

“We are delighted that Senator Okpehbolo’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of Edo’s citizens and his commitment to effective governance, aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) principles endeared him with the electorate”, Ilevbare said.

According to him, the people of Edo have spoken decisively through the ballot, entrusting Senator Okpehbolo with leadership – a testament to the triumph of truth, democracy, and trust.

The group appealed to the good people of Edo State and well-meaning Nigerians to rally support for the Governor-Elect in his effort to transform the state through his carefully planned manifesto.

TCO National Coordinator further stated, ”this victory will propel the Governor-Elect to deliver purposeful governance, benefiting all, regardless of affiliations.”

The support group reiterated its commitment to stand by, work with, and support Senator Okpehbolo, urging the Governor-Elect to extend fellowship to opponents, inviting collaboration to serve the state.

Expressing his profound gratitude to their leaders, he said, “we sincerely appreciate the distinguished Senator Adams Oshiomole, Rt. Hon. Prof Julius Ihonvbere, OON, DSSRN (House Leader) and other leaders for their sacrificial contributions.“

The 100th National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party has reinstated Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s national secretary.

Speaking to journalists after the NEC meeting held in Abuja on Monday, the PDP acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, announced that Anyanwu has been officially reinstated.

JUST IN: Dalori Chairs First APC NWC Meeting Following Ganduje’s Resignation

Following the resignation of former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Deputy Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, is now presiding over his first National Working Committee meeting in his capacity as Acting National Chairman.

Dalori, along with several NWC members, is currently meeting at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
