Waffi TV CEO, Akemotubo, Emerges As Delta PDP Auditor

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Waffi TV, Pastor Arex Akemotubo has been elected unopposed, Auditor-General of the Delta State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Akemotubo, who hails from Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South-West Local Government Area of the state, garnered 3,149 out of 3,153 votes cast to emerge winner in the election that was held in Asaba, the state capital on Saturday.

Known for his dedication and track record of service within the party, Akemotubo’s election is seen as a strategic move to ensure robust financial oversight and transparency within the PDP family in the state.

Party officials and members, while reacting, expressed confidence that Akemotubo would bring accountability and efficiency to his new role, strengthening the party’s position ahead of future elections.

JUST IN: NEC Reinstates Anyanwu As PDP National Secretary

The 100th National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party has reinstated Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s national secretary.

Speaking to journalists after the NEC meeting held in Abuja on Monday, the PDP acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, announced that Anyanwu has been officially reinstated.

JUST IN: Dalori Chairs First APC NWC Meeting Following Ganduje’s Resignation

Following the resignation of former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Deputy Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, is now presiding over his first National Working Committee meeting in his capacity as Acting National Chairman.

Dalori, along with several NWC members, is currently meeting at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
