Why I Hid My Wife, Children From Social Media – Chinedu Ikedieze

Veteran Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, aka Aki, has revealed why he hides his family from social media.

The 45-year-old thespian said he doesn’t flaunt his wife and children on social media because he wants them to be “free.”

He disclosed this in a recent interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo.

He said, “I have children but I decided to put them aside because I’m the celebrity, they are not.

“I just want them to be free because the moment everybody gets to know them, it would affect them. And I don’t want that.

“So, I hide them even my wife apart from our wedding announcement that I made, so that she can go to market, do every other thing without much ardor.”

Recall that Ikedieze married his heartthrob Nneoma Nwaijah in 2011.

The couple is blessed with children but the actor has decided to keep the details secret.

Entertainment CEO Returns Night Life To Benin, Invites Peruzzi

The Chief Executive Officer of Tarex, Mr. Lucky Ohimai, says he is willing to revive the night life that was once enjoyed in Edo State.

He said this while addressing journalists ahead of his forthcoming event slated for 29 September at Tarex Lounge, Benin City.

Ohimai said the state was once famous for night life and suddenly, all these have become a history.

He said most notable artistes in the entertainment industry discovered their talents and were subsequently groomed to stardom from Edo State.

While stating the reasons for the hosting of the event, Ohimai said that it was a thing of joy to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians .

He said in order to ease and take away their minds from the stress of life, has decided to put up a show, where a popular Nigerian guest artiste, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, also known as Peruzzi, will be on ground to thrill them (audience).

He added that, this is, his little contribution to the hospitality business in the country.

According to him “I am glad with what I am doing. Entertainment is in my DNA.

“I just want to make people happy, I just want to take this boredom away from the Nigerian youths because I know that they are passing through a lot at this time.

“I started first by bringing Eltee Skills, 2 face, Crayon, Mayorkun and now Peruzzi to the state.

“It is my desire to invite more artistes to the state and be a leading event planner in Nigeria .

Also speaking, the event consultant/promoter who doubles as the CEO Surprised Pub and Cafe, Mr. Matthew Oshodin, commended Mr. Ohimai for coming up with such a concept of revamping night life in the state.

He said the event is coming up at the right time adding that, this can help the citizens of the state to heave a sign of relief.

Oshodin said that the hospitality business has created a lot of jobs and have taken millions of youths off the streets in the recent times.

Street hop sensation, Naira Marley has finally shared his own side of the story on the death of his ex-signee, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

In an interview, posted on the X (formerly known as Twitter) handle of a Social Media Influencer, Reno Omokri on Wednesday, Naira Marley explained how he tried to get professional psychiatric help for the late singer Mohbad and paid for scans.

Naira Marley also spoke about his relationship with Lagos socialite, Sam Larry as well as addressed other issues as regards the allegations levelled against him over Mohbad’s death.

Naira Marley also shared a video of his last conversation with late singer Mohbad, wherein, the deceased opened up about his struggle with suicidal thoughts.

Naira Marley said: “There was another time when I was in America and his girl called me to say he (mohbad) locked himself in the toilet and he wanted to kill himself or something like that. So, I called him from there and recorded the conversation, asking him: Why do you want to kill yourself? You are a king, if your family is stressing you out(because this time, he was with his family) just tell them to chill, you can do what you want to do, do not stress yourself, if you kill yourself now, what do you want people to say.

“I was so concerned so I called him to try to give him rest of mind, if your family is stressing you out, leave.

“He wanted to commit suicide, in the video, I was just trying to find out what was wrong with him.”

Naira Marley reinstated his willingness to return to Nigeria to clear his name over allegations suggesting his involvement in his ex-signee Mohbad’s death if the Nigerian Police guaranteed his safety.

Naira Marley Shares Video Of Last Conversation With Mohbad Over ‘Auicidal Thoughts’

Street hop sensation, Naira Marley has shared a video of his last conversation with late singer Mohbad, wherein, the deceased opened up about his struggle with suicidal thoughts.

In the video, posted on X ((formerly known as Twitter) handle of a Social Media Influencer, Reno Omokri, Mohbad was captured explaining his ordeal to Naira Marley after battling with depression.

The singer’s death has continued to spark controversies and generate several conspiracy theories.

Recall the Marlian Records boss, via an official statement on his Instagram handle on Tuesday, addressed the allegations.

It is Naira Marley’s second official statement since Mohbad died.

The British-Nigerian singer also debunked claims he runs his Marlian Records label as a drug cartel.

He wrote, “Permit me to categorically state that I have no hand in the death of Ilerioluwa, either directly or indirectly.” The rumours regarding the label being a drug cartel are untrue.

“I am not a drug lord, nor do I, Marley, belong to any cult or fraternity. I’m dedicated to proving my innocence, and I’m cooperating with the authorities to clear my name with sufficient evidence,”
