World Cup: Reactions Trail Video Of Samuel Eto’o Brutalising Man In Qatar

Reactions have trailed a video of President of the Cameroon Football Association Samuel Eto’o brutalizing a man in Qatar.
Eto’o was caught on camera kneeing a man’s head during an altercation after Brazil’s 4-1 victory over South Korea in the World Cup round of 16 on Monday.
The incident happened outside the 974 Stadium in Doha on Monday night.
Eto’o confronted the man filming him while he posed for selfies with fans.
The former Chelsea and Inter Milan star chased the man in the viral video, and he [the man] continued to back away.
The Cameroon legend was seen giving his phone to someone to hold while a member of his entourage attempted to grab the camera from the man.

Eto’o broke free from the two men restraining him and attacked the man with the camera by kneeing him in the head.
Some football fans have taken to social media to react to the development.
While some criticized Eto’o, one of Qatar’s ‘legacy ambassadors’ for the FIFA World Cup, others supported him for what he did to the man.
Here are some comments gathered from Twitter by DAILY POST:
@OgaNlaMedia, “The journalist asked Eto’o how much he bribed a referee for a game” – This is the truth right? Terrible and ridiculous question. I agree as a leader Eto’o could have handled it better & use that opportunity to clear the rumour if there was any leadership skills.”
@osasuo, “@SamuelEtoo must realize that as a big football personality, he must keep cool, even when provoked. The reaction of the @FecafootOfficie president, as an ambassador of #Cameroon and #Africa, should be measured. Blowing his top like this is unwise.”
@Yann_Baki, “Those who defend Eto’o by saying that it is not a Robot to the point of insulting. I hope that in another context, you would have defended the person. For example, a man who ends up hitting a woman because he was “pushed to the limit” or even the reverse.”

@santherlabelle, “I know for a fact that man said something very derogatory to Samuel Eto’o. Because one minute he was all smiles and taking pics, the next is doing temple runs and angry birds. The journalist said something that got Samuel heated. Waiting for the full Story.”
@stronggirllolla, “You see that very kick papa eto’o gave that guy, it is not enough. He has dealt with it for far too long. That is a direct provocation. Most of you bashing him would have done worse. Before being president of Fecafoot, he is human. I remember when they did a raffle draw for the World Cup, I have never seen people as rude as the Algerians. 7 months of harassing people. 7 months of lack of fair play. Your behaviour is disgusting. You harass people h24 and you think someone was not going to crack? Eto’o didn’t even type.”
