Abiodun Ayoyinka Dumps ‘Papa Ajasco’ Persona, Unveils New Brands

Veteran actor Abiodun Ayoyinka, renowned for his decades-long portrayal of the iconic “Papa Ajasco” character, has officially announced a comprehensive rebranding of his public identity.
In a video shared via his Instagram page on Saturday, the entertainer formally introduced his new stage name, Bondu Alaska, marking a definitive break from the persona that made him a household name across Nigeria.
The transition follows a period of public friction between the actor and Wale Adenuga, the founder of Wale Adenuga Productions.
The dispute centred on Ayoyinka’s recent claims of financial hardship and subsequent clarifications from Adenuga regarding the restricted use of the trademarked “Papa Ajasco” brand.

In his viral announcement, the actor expressed profound gratitude to the public for the support shown following his recent interviews.
Declaring himself a “new person,” he promised his audience that he would not let them down under this new chapter of his career.
