EPL: Arsenal Will Finish Fourth, Man Utd To Fight For Title – Scholes Predicts

Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes, has predicted that Arsenal will not defend their Premier League title next season.

Scholes, speaking on The Good, The Bad and The Football podcast, said Mikel Arteta’s men could finish in fourth position.

He however tipped United and Liverpool to challenge for the title.

“I think Manchester United will have a chance under Michael (Carrick), if they do some good business,” Scholes said.

“Liverpool, I expect them to go again. Man City have a good time, but they will have a new manager.

“People are expecting Arsenal to go and dominate. I just don’t see that. I’m struggling to see a brilliant team that will go on and dominate.

“I don’t think it will be a massive surprise if Arsenal finish third or fourth.”

LaLiga: Mourinho Gives Real Madrid Approval To Sign Three Players

Incoming Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has given the green light for the club to sign two players.

The LaLiga giants have now agreed to sign Ibrahima Konate, who left Liverpool as a free agent.

Madrid will also activate Denzel Dumfries €20million release clause at Inter Milan.

But it is understood that Mourinho is eyeing another defensive player, as he prepares to take over the team this summer.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “José Mourinho has approved both Konaté and Dumfries deals for Real Madrid.

Madrid need reinforcements in defence following the departures of David Alaba and captain Dani Carvajal.

EPL: Two Man Utd Players To Leave As Carrick Signs Ederson

Manchester United are planning to sign another midfielder despite agreeing a transfer for Atalanta’s Ederson.

The Red Devils have struck a deal for Ederson worth €45m with add-ons included.

The Brazilian is expected to sign a four-year deal at Old Trafford.

However, according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, United manager Michael Carrick is eyeing another player in midfield.

Super Falcons Camp Swells With 11 Players Ahead Senegal Friendlies

Eleven players are currently in the Super Falcons Ikenne camp as the team gear up for the upcoming international friendlies against Senegal, according to DAILY POST.

The new arrivals in camp are Joy Omewa, Oluwatosin Demehin, Toni Payne, Blessing Illivieda, Folashade Ijamilusi , Anderline Mgbechi , Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene and Omorinsola Babajide.

They joined early arrivals Shukurat Oladipo, Kafayat Shittu and Asisat Oshoala in camp.

An additional 12 players are still expected to arrive in camp.

The Super Falcons will have their first official training session later tonight.
