EPL: Reason Arsenal Lost Mykhailo Mudryk To Chelsea

Published

on

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has hinted that Arsenal lost Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea because of their mentality.

According to Romano, Arsenal only wants to go for players that are convinced about their project and only for the right price.

Mudryk was widely expected to join Arsenal from Shakhtar Donetsk, but the Gunners failed to wrap up a deal for the Ukrainian.

However, Chelsea hijacked Arsenal’s deal for the 22-year-old.

The Blues officially unveiled Mudryk as their new player today after the winger underwent successful medical at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking about Arsenal’s transfer market ideology, Romano said on YouTube live stream:

Arsenal are like this. They want to go only for players that are convinced about their project and only for the right price. They don’t want to go for crazy things. This is Arsenal mentality. Some can appreciate it, but I’m sure there [are] Arsenal fans appreciating this strategy.”

He continued: “What Arsenal did today when they knew about Chelsea travelling to meet with Shakhtar to pay and reach an agreement and try to convince Mudryk, Arsenal were not in panic.
