Foundation Gifts Cash, Clothing Materials To Widows, Children To Celebrate Captain Hosa @ 63

It was a joyous moment on Thursday in Benin the Edo State Capital as a charity organisation known as Godsent Foundation put smiles on the faces of no fewer than 20 widows and numerous children.

Godsent Foundation also gifted the widows and children over 100 pieces of wrappers and hundred thousand naira (N100,000) cash to celebrate a philanthropist, Captain Hosa Wells Okunbo as he celebrate 63 birthday.

In the mood of celebrating Captain Hosa Wells Okunbo on his 63 birthday, the Foundation also fed over 500 persons and gifted other take away items.

Speaking on behalf of the founder, Godsent Foundation, Ambassador Dion Osagie, secretary of the foundation, Blessing Aigbe, said the foundation decided to celebrate Captain Hosa because of his good deeds in the society.

Amb. Dion added that the foundation has been in the front banner of reaching out to the under previliged and those that do not have food to eat, have clothes and resources to have a maximum life style, adding that Captain Hosa birthday celebration is another avenue the foundation set out to reach out to such persons.

A cross section of beneficiaries

While noting that reaching out to widows and children is what the foundation does weekly, and at times daily, the founder added that it is a way of given succour to them.

“Today we are feeding over 500 persons, and we have a lot of take away for our beneficiaries present. We have N100,000 give away for for 20 widows including 100 wrappers. This is our own special way of reaching out to them.

“We do feed children and widows every week. Sometimes we even do it daily, it depends on the partners that respond. This day, our kitchen is powered by Captain Hosa Wells,” he added.

A renowned Edo musician and elder statesman, Dr. Fabomo Edoleyi, was also on ground to give the event colours and also treat those in attendance to traditional music.
