Singer and songwriter, Temmie Ovwasa, known as YBNL Princess, has opened up on how she was allegedly humiliated publicly by Aisha Adebukunmi, the wife of popular Nigerian rapper and singer, Olamide Adedeji.
YBNL princess signed a record deal with YBNL Nation, owned by Olamide, also known as Baddo, in August 2015 but left the label in 2020 after having a disagreement with her boss.
Sharing her experience in a series of posts on her Instagram stories on Thursday, the singer alleged that she was just a poster girl on camera but neglected once cameras were off.
Ovwasa also alleged that she ‘wasted’ five years with the label, adding that she recorded over 25 songs but only 4 songs were released when she was with YBNL Nation.

“I recorded over 25 songs and Pheelz opened his wide mouth to tell me he misplaced the hard drive. 25 songs!!!!! [I] spent 5 years [at YBNL] and released 4 songs! I have recorded and released three albums since I left these people, and I have so many songs I could drop an album every week!” (sic).
The female singer claimed that her boss wife also humiliated her publicly by reminding her she was a ‘broke’ person each time they went out together
“I got into the music industry to sing; Olamide carried me on his head and paraded me as the ‘princess’, but once the cameras were off, I was in a house with his disrespectful a$$ classist wife, who made it her mission to remind me that I was a poor girl that they brought from Ilorin to change her life.
“I’d go out with this woman, and she’d humiliate me publicly! When people ask for pictures, she made it her mission to remind me that I was broke.

“It’s not enough to ‘help’ people; don’t add to their problems!!!! I kuku never tagged him [Olamide] on the video that he saw [that he signed me]. I never cared to be associated with you people. I really just wanted to sing!”
She added that she was moved to share her experience following the death of popular singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad
The PUNCH reports that Mohbad, 27, died on Tuesday, however, the cause of his death has been a subject of controversy since the tragic incident.
Ovwasa said even though the late singer spoke up, people were made to believe he was battling mental health and under the influence of drugs.

The second prophet said: “This is for VDM. Bad politicians have taken him to a river. VDM is dead in the river but still alive in the physical world. And it’s very bad for your face to be inside a river. Whether VDM likes it or not, he will leave the world unexpectedly.”
Reacting to the videos in a post shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, stated that death is inevitable.
He further asked the prophets to see a vision about how Nigeria will be great.

Former American baseball player, David Justice has revealed why he divorced his ex-wife, actress Halle Berry.
Speaking in a recent episode of the ‘All the Smoke’ podcast with co-host Matt Barnes, Justice explained that he left Berry because she doesn’t do house chores and lacks motherly instincts.
“I’m looking at my mom, I’m a Midwest guy. So in my mind, I’m thinking a wife at that time should cook, clean, and I’m thinking OK, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with and build a family with? And at that time, as a young guy, she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem like motherly,” he stated.
