JUST IN: Mr. P’s Management Refutes Darkoo’s Claims Of Sabotage

Published

on

One Management, representing Peter Okoye aka Mr. P, has refuted rising star Darkoo’s claims of sabotage.

Darkoo had last weekend claimed Mr. P, one of the defunct P-Square duo, tried sabotaging her new musical efforts, which sampled one of the twins’ hit songs, ‘Gimme Dat.’

In a recent statement signed by Ayo Oke, One Management described Darkoo’s claims as unfounded and malicious claims against Mr. P.

“As much as we do not want to believe the actions of Darkoo and her team are geared towards sensationalising a professional matter, it is obvious she wants to capitalise on the supposed P-SQUARE feud for popularity, clout and trend by maligning the one person that advised her on doing the right thing from the beginning,” the management wrote in parts.

In an open letter, One Management stated that contrary to Darkoo’s claims, Mr P only tried to ensure that all parties of the defunct P-Square group were carried along and not just one person.

The letter further stated that contrary to claims that Mr P insisted on a feature in the song’s remix, it was Darkoo, who had been pressurising the music and dance star to feature in the remix all to curry his favour.

However, Darkoo had gone ahead to seek permission rights from an unauthorised entity after which the project ran into troubled waters.

The management company further noted that after she ran into troubled waters, she and her team reverted to the same Mr P and his team for solutions after which they went ahead to do the needful and all dust raised settled.

“Sadly, Darkoo didn’t ‘rant’ about a disservice or sabotage when the video was taken down, rather she reached out to our client (Mr. P) to salvage the situation but she suddenly found her voice once the video was reinstated on the video-sharing platform, calling him a saboteur.

“The only items that were modified in the proper agreement and clearance were:

The entity (SQUARE Records and not Northside Ent) and including ALL the stakeholders in the duo P-SQUARE.

“The initial 50% split was requested by the individual she approached initially and was not a request from our client for himself. That she implied this in her rant is malicious and a deliberate attempt to portray him in a bad light,” the management wrote.
