UNIBEN Defy FG’s Directives, Align With Edo Government On School Resumption

The Management of University of Benin says it will adhere to all directives of Edo State Government on school resumption.

The Federal Government through the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, had fixed January 18, 2020 for school resumption in the country while Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki last week announced postponment of school resumption pending February 1st, 2020 when it will be reviewed.

This is due to increasing rate of COVID-19 cases in the country.
