VIDEO: Rema Performs ‘Calm Down’ At Indian Billionaire Ambani’s Son Wedding

Popular Nigerian afrobeats sensation, Rema has captivated guests at the wedding of Anant Ambani, son of India’s wealthiest man Mukesh Ambani, with a spirited performance of his chart-topping track ‘Calm Down’.
A viral video surfaced on Thursday depicting Rema’s arrival in India in anticipation of the grand ceremony. According to reports from Hindusian Times, the singer was paid $3 million for his appearance.
In a latest video that has since gone viral, Rema, known for his infectious beats and energetic stage presence, was seen enthralling attendees at the wedding hall.

The wedding celebration also features performances by other international superstars. Canadian singer Justin Bieber reportedly received $10 million for his performance, while pop icon Rihanna also graced the stage for an undisclosed fee.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to marry on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
This four-day wedding extravaganza marks the culmination of a series of lavish celebrations hosted by the families since March.

The guest list for the wedding includes a host of high-profile figures such as Kim Kardashian, former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt, and former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, among others.
Mumbai is abuzz with excitement as the city plays host to one of the most opulent weddings of the year, drawing attention from around the globe.

Nigerian Musician Dies In Canada

Popular live music band leader, Akinloye Tofowomo popularly known as Akiin Shuga, has died at the age of 50.
His death was confirmed in a statement released by his family on Monday.
Akiin Shuga died on October 30, 2025, in New Brunswick, Canada.

The statement described the Shuga Band founder as “a revered music icon and custodian of rhythm, culture, and the spirit of performance”.
The family also said details of funeral arrangements will be revealed in due course.
In the meantime, they requested for “privacy and quiet reflection at this deeply difficult time”.
Akiin Shuga leaves behind his wife, children, siblings, and mother.

Jarvis Threatens To Sue Peller Over Money Laundering Allegation

Popular content creator and TikToker, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, has threatened legal action against her boyfriend, Peller.
Peller, who is also a TikTok star, had in a recent livestream named Jarvis among other TikTokers that laundered money through the platform’s gifting feature.
Reacting to the allegation, Jarvis management, Aiso Entertainment, tagged Peller’s claim as false.

Jarvis management in a statement shared on her social media page, threatened to sue Peller for defamation, noting that “such accusations are an attack on her character and legality, which deserve stringent legal action of this kind”.
“The management alongside her esteemed legal counsel, denies these allegations and we are currently exploring the possibility of initiating a defamation lawsuit against Mr. Peller,” the statement added.
