Published

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has said the Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District, Chimaroke Nnamani, was listed as a member of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, PCC because he believes in the ruling party.

Recall that the lawmaker, who was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was among the list of campaign council which comprises 422 members.

Reacting to the news currently making the rounds, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, told Channels TV that Tinubu enjoys support beyond the APC and it is not unusual for the “cross-party alignment”.

According to him, the presidential campaign is not necessarily about party membership, stating that the campaign is about support for an individual’s favourite candidate.
